Constructed by the NZFS from materials of three mining exploration huts dating from the late 1970's, that were shifted from the head of the Pyke Valley by the NZFS. This building was one of five huts used for an asbestos mining exploration project by the Canadian, CASSAIR Mining Company. Edit Hut
