Built before 1938, according to the earliest graffiti. It was replaced by a newer hut (see 'Boulder Forks Hut') in the 1970's. 'Boulder Forks Hut (old)' is still standing, but it has no bunks & a dirt floor. Edit Hut

No bunks and dirt floor. The frame is beech saplings, now with borer. Ed Hillary's name on the wall from June 1944, when climbing Pinnacle. The earliest graffiti spotted is from 1938.
