Notes
Originally built as a station hut in the 1920's or 1930's. It was used by musterers from Lakes Station & by government deer cullers. George Boyd reports "the Camerons Creek Hut was over by the bush & was endangered by the side creek". He reports "we never moved the hut, that was done the year before (1954). When we arrived, it was out in the open, with no door, window or bunks". George reports the hut was relocated on to open tussock flats in 1954 & that he helped finish it off in 1955, adding a new door he had carried in on his back (see 1955 photo). Edit Hut

Hut has been refurbished, and lost any characters it may have had. Concrete floor. Drafty Bunks are unusable - the bunk frames have no slats on them. No mattresses
