Built by Internal Affairs around the time the NZFS was formed. It's a unique structure of steel dexion & timber framing clad in aluminium corrugate. March 2019: Renovated by volunteers led by Andrew Pereira, they installed a new wood burner, replaced the roof, including building paper, moved the woodshed away from the hut & installed a new water tank.
