Notes
Built in 1957 by Dave Tiller & co. Jock Fisher recalls standing on the flat waiting for the trial drop of long timber for the rafters from a Cessna with bomb racks on the wings. The plane, piloted by Tex Smith, with Senior Field officer, Stan Fokerd as observer, flew up the valley, circled, then flew low over the flat with only one bundle of timber dropping. Jock walked out & next day two more bundles were successfully dropped. The hut was restored by DOC in 2008. Edit Hut
