Built by the NZFS in March, 1965, as a S70 six-bunk design with an open fire. In 2012, DOC Greymouth replaced the ridging, clearlight, & some roofing iron, & they repaired the chimnery. It was extensively overhauled in January, 2022, by a Jobs for Nature crew. They replaced 15 piles with a solid brace pile system, replaced the roof & skylight, replaced the louver windows, replaced the open fire insert, build a woodshed, & painted the toilet & hut. Edit Hut
