Built in 1980 by the NZFS & is now owned by DOC. 'Coppermine Creek Hut' can be driven to by 4WD. At some point the roof was replaced & as of October, 2022, DOC has installed a new wood burner. Edit Hut

Once we killed the mosquitos, it was a great warm hut.
