Great easy walk in. Hut was good. Mattresses were filthy so gave these a good clean. Lots of wasps / bees at this time of the year.

Track very popular and in great condition. Easy walk from the road end. Didn't get to see inside the hut as there were others in there. Popular with dog walkers too. Lots of water and shade along the route, and evidence that there's plenty of goats around. Great intro to tramping and staying in huts for younger family members I'd say
