Notes
Built in 1945 & named after Mary & Paddy Dillon. When the Dillion's left the Taipo in the mid 1960's, the hut was maintained by the Ducket family from Kumara. They altered the hut, knocking out some of the internal walls & adding a wetback shower, which is heated by a separate wood burner. In 2003, DOC built 'Dillon Hut', which is about 5mins away.
