Notes
Built in 1975 by Fiordland NP staff, Paul Cavanagh, Ken Bradley, Tom Ryder & Shane Hitchcock. It was based upon a Murray Schofield (Fiordland NP, Chief Ranger) design. Materials were ferried up the lake on the Pukutahi. This hut replaced the original hut which accidently burnt down in April, 1974. The verandah was originally on the lake side but altered by John Garrett to the opposite side to make the most of the sun. It has a dart board. Edit Hut
