Notes
Originally a railway station in the Ida Valley, it was relocated using bulldozers, to the Ida Plateau by Laurie Inder & co. where it was joined to a mustering hut. It is currently occasionally used by the Ida Valley syndicate for summer grazing though this will soon cease. It oozes character & provides an opportunity for you to stay in the vast tussock country - an experience that is sure to be memorable. It was renovated by DOC in 2013, it is also locally known as Inder's Castle. Edit Hut

Joined to a 1934 musterers hut. Has a hot water cylinder connected to the stove, but the water supply pipe is disconnected.
