A DOC biodiversity hut used primarily by members of Project Kaka. The hut is open to the public & there is a picnic table outside beside the external fire pit. It replaces 'Island Forks Biv (old)' that was flown out in April, 2000, with this replacement coming from Ngapuketurua Stream (known locally as Weasel Creek). See 'Weasel Creek Biv'. Edit Hut
