Notes

Built in 1963 by the NZFS as a S70 6-bunk design with an open fire. This was NZFS hut # 532. The open fire has been removed & replaced with a wood burner, thanks to the Nelson Tramping Club. Edit Hut

Lovely setting. Don't be tempted to take a shortcut there through tussock from the ridge if coming from Kiwi Saddle Hut. There's a good track down a bit further along the ridge.
