Built in 1968 by the NZFS, it originally had an open fire that was replaced by a woodburner, which has since been removed too. Mid June, 2022, saw a new toilet installed by Tim Marshall & Sam Jones. Edit Hut

3 hour walk in with lots of accidental detours. There's a bit of wind fall and not the most clear track at time. Plenty of water on the way (in April anyway)
