Built in 1990. this is the second of two huts on this site. The first hut was a log hut built with Douglas Fir poles from Mt Aurum Station & completed on 5 March, 1982. Unfortunately, it burnt down some years later. Edit Hut

Cute on the outside, but the inside is a bit rough. Would likely be more comfortable to tent. Made for some awesome wedding pictures though.

Pretty scenery, couldn't pay me to sleep in the hut.
