Notes
Built in 1960 by the NZFS, the biv has canvas bunks with 2 old foam bed rolls. The door now has the correct spelling on it after the previous sign had it as ‘McKenzie Bivvy’. The biv received some long overdue maintenance by volunteers (led by Richard P. Janssen) in Nov. 2017 & Mar. 2018. They repiled the hut, painted it & put in a new toilet. Photo: R. P. Janssen.
