Built in 1969 by the NZFS as a standard S70 6-bunk design with an open fire, which has been replaced with a woodburner. There is plenty of fire wood to use in the surrounding forest. Edit Hut

Lovely spot, tidy hut. About 4 hrs from Top Robinson or Palmer Rd. Track a bit rough in places.
