Great hut just off the river in some bush so in a storm it would probably be fine we’re it is and you can only just hair the river from it.

From the Wilberforce Valley, travel is along large grassed terraces (First on the TR then on the TL). When exiting the terrace on the TL (below point 1424), cross the river on the TR to the wooded terrace and follow a well-defined animal track (some trees have been cut with saws). The hut is located on a wooded terrace, and a trail of about 50m marked by a large orange marker indicates the access.
