Built in 1970, but turned through 90 degrees by Max Polglaze & co. in 1984 to improve the interior layout, including the addition of a gas stove & porch. The open fire was replaced by a wood burner in 1985, which in-turn got removed & replaced by gas heating in the late 1990's. 2012, saw DOC replace the gas heating with a new woodburner which remains. As of January, 2025, the hut has been repainted. Edit Hut
