I first visited in 1996 when we went there ski-touring. The coal range has been replaced by a lovely woodburner. Unfortunately the 2 north-facing windows are currently covered in particle boards which is a recent development and hopefully will be replaced with something transparent. 4WDing yobboes visit the hut and it has a few repaired holes.
