Notes
Built in the early 1960’s, this was the former 'Jamestown Hut', then the former 'McKerrow Hut', which sat opposite McKerrow Island for use in flood situations. 'McKerrow Hut' was relocated & renamed 'Olivine Hut' in the early 1980's, with Bruce Reay reporting it was in-situ in 1982. Thanks to 100% community funding, it was rebuilt by the Pyke River Preservation Society Inc. between Oct., 2024 & early 2025. Edit Hut
