Built by the NZFS in the 1960's as a S70 6-bunk design with an open fire. One of the cupboards at the door end was removed and the open fire replaced with a wood burner at some point. A new roof, sarking, windows, window flashings, deck, water tank & woodshed were installed in early October, 2021 by a 'Kaimahi for Nature' crew. Mid January, 2022, saw the hut interior & exterior painted by volunteers. Edit Hut
