Built in 1968 this hut was relocated in 1987/ 1988 by DOC, from the end of Top Valley Rd, where it was known as 'Forks Hut'. The hut has doubled in size from 4 to 8-bunks. Edit Hut

When I went to hut in 1988.On a 7 day trip of Mt Richmond.The hut had not long been relocated to site.Old hut was on different site on saddle went to the hut around 1985 /86.
