Built in February, 1974 & later Max Polglaze added a verandah. This replaced the 1928 built original hut, that towards the end of its life, lost one of its ends. The hut had gas burners but according to GraemeC these have since been removed. Mid March, 2025 saw 6 Backcountry Trust volunteers re-roof the lodge. Edit Hut
