Built in 2002 to replace the former 'Sylvester Hut (old)' which was also known as 'Bushline Hut' & 'Thorn Hut'. This hut is named after young geologist, Samuel Sylvester, who conducted a geological survey of the Mt Arthur Tableland & Cobb area in his university studies. Sylvester drowned in 1931. Edit Hut
