Built by Bill Adams of Omarama in December, 1989, & sitting adjacent the old hut. It was used by mustering & fencing gangs in the early 1990’s, before tenure review saw DOC take over it’s management. There is no fuel for heating so take your own. Edit Hut

Stayed the night 3 Jan 2025. Great wee hut, very cold overnight woke to almost a frost. Fire works a treat but take your own wood. Managed to scavenge a few random bits for the next group. Couple of mice around the hut too
