Notes
Built by either Gordon Roberts or Roger Pearson. The hut had a 'make over' in late 2014 & early 2015 by volunteers from the Hanmer Springs Search & Rescue group. In early February, 2020, 6 volunteers led by Dave Hodder extensively cut back trees to improve the flight approach & upgraded the helipad with a retaining wall. Meanwhile, a Hanmer Springs Land SAR team painted an internal wall & replaced the canvas bunks with timber slats & mattresses. The teams placed track markers on the track down to Tutu Stream.
