Notes
Removed in 2013 by DOC & the NZ Army. It was the second of three Waihohonu huts. This one, a Lockwood type building, was built in 1968 after the original hut ('Waihohonu Hut No. 1') closed for overnight use in 1968. The second hut was subsequently replaced in October, 2010, by the 28-bunk, 'Waihohonu Hut No. 3', on the opposite side of Waihohonu Stream. The second & third versions co-existed for 3 years. This was a Great Walks hut. Edit Hut
