The new hut was built in Auckland by Foster Harris Ltd, transported south & then flown by a heavy-lift helicopter from Reef Hills farm. It was installed by Wairarapa builders, Chris Tait & Gordon Bennett. The present hut is located 200m southwest of the first two huts/ bivs.Location:
