A historic musterer's hut (1890s) on the Greta Track. It's not suitable for accommodation as it's semi derelict. The mistletoe in bloom on the beech trees in mid-spring adjacent to the hut is beautiful. It has 1 rectangular foam as a mattress. Before Greta Lodge was built, this hut was called "Lake Ruataniwha Hut'. Edit Hut

No door or glazing in the window, and a hole in the roof but the timber floor is okay, helped by the broom. Could stay in it if keen.
