It is in reasonable condition for its age. It is a 3-hour walk from Duffers Saddle along the water race. Around 200m further up the water race the water goes through a tunnel in the rock, which you can walk through if you have a torch. March, 2005, saw Backcountry Trust volunteers reline the interior.Location:

There's a former hut site very close with just the base of 2 walls remaining unless it was a stable.
