It has 2 bunks and the category of Backcountry Hut.This hut is of unknown origin or date of build. It sits on the shortcut track above Coffins Creek. I saw it in 1991 when it was in quite good condition. I recall it having bunks, a gable roof & a wooden floor. It was not marked or sign posted but was able to be easily seen above the creek, after diverting off the Forest Road. Someone, a local person perhaps, may be able to offer any comment on it - as to when & who built it. As of late December, 2023, it may no longer be standing. It is visible on 'Retrolens' imagery from the 1960's. The coordinates are approximate. I have no photos sorry.Location:
