It has 6 bunks and the category of Backcountry Hut.Named after Thomas & Agnes Crosbie who took up one of five farming blocks in 1880 with the area becoming known as Crosbie Settlement. It was eventually abandoned in 1926 & by the late 1960’s the area had mostly reverted to bush, apart from the woolshed. Following the establishment of Coromandel FP in 1970, the NZFS converted the woolshed into a hut. It was unfortunately blown down by Cyclone Bola in 1988.Location:
