Notes
The second of two 'De La Beche' huts, it was built in 1979 to replace 'De La Beche Hut No. 1'. Due to extensive damage from leaking cladding & rot, 'De La Beche Hut No. 2' was removed on 20 February, 2012, by NZAC volunteers & the NZ Air Force. The base frame of the hut remains insitu & the NZAC is hoping to replace this hut. The old bivvy rock is still in place. Edit Hut
