One - a walled-in rock shelter, roofed & usable, complete with a bench & open fire. It has a flat sand floor & room for 2-3 sleeping mats. The second hut (visible from river) no longer has a roof but it was a larger dry-stone building. Water is available 100m away in the river. Doctors Point tramping track passes between the two huts. A campsite with tables & mooring bollards lies 500m beyond the huts at Doctors Point where there are extensive gold mining remains.Location:
