Consequently, the CAA established emergency supplies of food & blankets at strategic locations, largely utilising existing huts (Ken Bradley, pers. comm. 5/03/07). Mid February, 2022, saw members of the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation begin long overdue renovations. They completely rebuilt the rotting fireplace, replaced rotten decking, removed the old boat shed, & cleaned & painted, the interior & exterior.Location:
