This hut sat on conservation land but was accidentally burnt down in the 1990's but quickly rebuilt by members of the Rakaia NZDA. Post tenure review in 2014 a small section of public land, including Jellicoe Hut was surveyed off & is now part of Manuka Point Station.Location:
