A good six hour slow up hill climb to the Lyell Saddle hut. Loved the memorabilia of the mining days on the way. Amazing history of days gone by. We had company in the hut with the two track maintenance gentleman. Ad was stoked as they offered him a beer. Loved the decomposing toilets very well done using beech litter to help with breakdown
