Beautiful wee spot, would be lovely to stay! Once found, the trail is relatively easy to follow even in decent snow - just follow the mud! Occasionally markers are present but good luck spotting them from a distance, only useful as reassurance you're on the right track when you see them. Easy to walk past the hut as it is hidden in the trees at the edge of the open area seen on the map.

Nice spot for a hut, maybe 20-30mins from the road. Can be difficult to spot the entrance from the road as it is not marked - it’s directly opposite the car park through an opening in the trees halfway between the 1140 and 1160 contours as pictured. Easy to follow though sparsely marked.

A bucket list Hut for me. dad was here in the late 50's t 1970. Never got to visit with him sadly.
