It has 6 bunks and the category of Standard Hut.Transported from Rakaia by truck & trailer to Erewhon Station. Then in the 1980's it was towed by bulldozer to Mistakes Flat by a NZFS crew, including Dave Anderson. It replaced the original hut which was destroyed by wind. In mid Feb., 2017, the hut received some attention, including a new stainless steel bench, widening of the bunks, lining of the ceiling & painting of the roof from Mike Lagan & his team of volunteers. Feb., 2019, saw the hut exterior painted by Mike & his team of volunteers.Location:
