It appears the hut is being co-managed given the number of DOC signs inside the hut & a sign at the entrance to Timaru Creek states the hut is open for public use. Thanks Dingle Burn Station. The hut is unique in that it has 6-bunks, 2 doubles & 2 singles, but only 4 single mattresses. It has received a new chimney in recent years.Location:
