This hut is managed by the Permolat group. It was relocated from 'Lower Arahura Hut' site in 2010, but much of it had to be replaced & strengthened due to the high winds that can be experienced on Mt Brown. It was repainted by volunteers led by Hugh van Noorden in April, 2019. There is cell phone reception from the ridge above the biv. Edit Hut
