Sadly with an overwhelming stench of rat! In pretty good nick for a hut built in 1964.

The Caretaker is very helpful and pointed out to me some Pine Trees that suffered Lightning damage in November 2020 during a thunderstorm. As you climb through the Pines track they are on your right, very close to when you emerge out of the Pines into a more open track. The damaged Pine Trees are about 250m past the small Trig you pass in the Pine Forest.

The Caretaker who lives in the House near the track start. Advised me on 27 May 2021 that the Hut is not available for Public use, despite being left in an unlocked state.
