A day shelter in Temple Basin used by skiers not staying overnight on the field. It is a 20-minute walk to the main club ski field buildings. It is 1.5-2 hour from State Highway 73. The shelter has a reputation amongst trampers for being haunted. Edit Hut

What a magic place for this shelter. A pity it can't be hut but I understand why it can't be with the avalanche risk. Very cold inside the shelter.
