A steep but short descent from the main ridge track. Peach Cove itself is stunning, with plenty of birdlife around, especially at night. A true Northland gem!

It has a combination lock on the door, so you do actually need to book to get the code. Accessed by a very well-maintained track with about 850 steps down from the ridge. It has a big deck, but the memorable feature is the massive pohutukawa tree on top of a huge volcanic pinnacle adjacent to the hut.
