It has 2 bunks and the category of Backcountry Hut.Built in 1958, this B49 type biv was commonly called ‘Crinkle Top Bivvy’ as it sat near the 1315m summit of Crinkle Top. It was painted in the summer of 2003 / 2004 by DOC. It slept two on the floor. Due to a lack of maintenance, its framing rotted beyond repair & the biv was removed by DOC in 2011. It was replaced in the same year by the much better-conditioned, former 'Top Crawford Bivvy'.Location:
