It was a prefabricated A-frame hut, with materials dropped by a Bristol Freighter from Whenuapai, piloted by FL Ian Collins. Unfortunately, .5 parachutes failed to open, resulting in smashed wood & mangled iron. Staff from the NZFS & NZDF helped remove the hut after October, 1983.Location:
