Built in 1960 by the NZFS. Overhauled in Feb., 2021 by David Middleditch, Lisa Fraser, Pablo Martinez & Megan Dimozantos who cleared the site of vegetation, removed the biv's base-board to improve air flow under it, did a re-roof, replaced the tie-downs with new stainless-steel dead-man spec tie-downs, fully painted inside & out, replaced the leaking back window, dug a new toilet hole & reinstated the open-air 'thunderbox' with a luxurious platform.
