I think I have seen that hut in picture before,on way out from Lake Ghristabel to Palmer road.

The one time I walked thru there I don't recall seeing that hut or its remains. I haven't come across anything in the old NZFS route & hunting guides or on Maps Past about a hut in this immediate vicinity. There was however a hut & subsequently a bivvy at the same site on the TR branch that pre dated the building of the current Lake Christobel Hut.
