Keep gear in doors Kea and Weka will take anything they can try and carry. Our group had several damaged shoes and boots from Kea and one pair of bright blue sneakers were taken.

Hut was unlocked and people had been inside but we didn't see anyone, looked about the hut and then continued on our way, seemed nice and had all the things one would need.
